Message from our Pastor – 7/6/2020
I am happy to announce that our priests who got tested for COVID-19 last week got back their results and they were negative for the virus. With this, all public liturgies in English and Spanish will resume on Thursday, July 9th at the scheduled time before the recent closure. First Communions, Infant Baptisms, and other sacraments scheduled for the weekend of July 11/12 and the following weekends in July will be celebrated as planned. Our parish lay staff also tested negative so our parish office and CCE office will open again on Thursday, July 9th. Our office staff could help you with most of your needs over the phone, so we encourage you to call rather than coming to the office at this time. In preparation for reopening on Thursday, the church and parish offices will be cleaned and sanitized today, Monday, July 6th.
We continue to take seriously our compliance with the government’s guidelines regarding the wearing of masks, maintaining social distance and sanitization protocols to prevent the spread of the virus. Monitor your health and if you have any symptoms, please stay at home and seek medical attention or go get tested for COVID-19. There are a number of free COVID-19 testing sites in our community. For a list of testing sites, please call the City of Houston Health Department at 832-393-4220 or visit www.houstonemergency.org/covid19-.
