Dear families,
I want to take this time to thank you immensely for your patience during this time. I know the world is quickly changing and I know the City of Austin is under some immense distress right now. Know that we at St. Austin's are praying for you and with you during this time. As we hear in this weekend's Gospel, the Sower is planting seeds in three different terrains, praying that the seed will germinate and grow in one of them. While we may seem like we are planting seeds into the concrete jungle of Austin, know that somewhere the seed is being watered and cared for by the Holy Spirit.
This year Faith Formation will have to look different because of safety concerns, we cannot conceive of a safe way to conduct Faith Formation on campus in the Fall of 2020, and possibly years to come if we go forward with the Development -- which is not a done deal, and construction timelines may be delayed by the pandemic, we may not have classrooms to use on campus in the 2021-2023 academic years. The rocky terrain will produce all the seeds that have been thrown into it. While you may think it will never grow, it will! I would love to know your thoughts going into this year's Faith Formation and the years to come. Please read over the below questions and let us at St. Austin know how you are sowing your seeds. Thank you!
