Dear Parishioners,
Another eventful week here at Sacred Heart!
RCIA Mass!
We were able to welcome into the Church our brothers and sisters who made the journey of RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults), learning more about the Catholic faith over the course of this last year in preparation to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Communion.
Some were raised Catholic but never received First Holy Communion or Confirmation, others were raised in other Christian communities but wanted to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church, and still others were never baptized and wanted to become members of Christ's Body, the Church. We are overjoyed to have them all as brothers and sisters!

Confirmation Masses!
Another great joy at the parish has been to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation with the teens of our parish. We had the first group on Wednesday, July 1st, and have the second tonight, July 8th. Please pray for them all as they receive this great gift from the Lord.

Finally....
Our final bit of parish news is that our seminarian, Agustín Henderson, will be giving a spiritual conference to the parish on Wednesday, July 22nd at 6pm. It will be in the church, but also live-streamed. Stay tuned for more info next week!
