Join us this Wednesday, March 8, for the first session in our Lenten Series on Christian Prayer: Raising the Heart and Mind to God. This week’s session is VISIO DIVINA with Father Sullivan. Visio Divina is a spiritual practice that invites us to see with fresh vision at a more contemplative pace. Photographs, paintings, sculpture, and icons are forms of sacred art that open up the “eyes” of the heart.
Visio Divina invites us to explore the entirety of the image beyond first and second impressions in order to be transformed by God. Father Sullivan will share items from his personal collection as he walks us through this beautiful form of prayer. We’ll begin at 7 p.m. in Johnson Hall. All ages are welcome.
Please see the attached flyer for dates and topics for our complete Lenten Series on Christian Prayer.
