The Pew Crew
"Since Sunday and daily Mass resumed the weekend of May 23, safety procedures have been in place. Face masks and maintaining social distance are the new norm. And, after each gathering in the sanctuary the Church is sanitized by volunteers who wipe down the tops of pews, the arm rests, kneelers by the votive candles and saints’ relics, and all entrance and exit door handles. Using sanitizing spray, cleaning cloths and disposable gloves, each crew cleans the Church for the next Mass."

(Below) "Anita Nyberg, president of the Altar Guild, saw the need for increased safety precautions in this time of the coronovirus. Speaking at each Mass, she recruited two dozen parishioners to take on the task of cleaning the Church. “We do it to keep folks safe - - so they are able to come to Church,” said Anita, and adds, “We do it for Jesus.”
If interested in helping, call Anita 919-522-7606 for details. At this time, a list of substitutes is being developed to help as needed."
