Just a quick reminder, that everyone is invited to join us after Mass this evening (7/18), as we celebrate with Rita Cook in our school gym. If you're unable to join us for her retirement party (yes, we'll be practicing social distancing and masks are recommended, except when we're eating) please extend her a note of thanks for her many years of service to our parish community. From teaching kindergartners and elementary school, to serving as the principal and more recently as our director of religious education, Rita has formed individuals intellectually and spiritually. I personally am grateful for her prayers and support these past 6 years!
Please join us in thanking Rita Cook on Saturday July 18th (this evening) at 6:00pm in the school gym. No gifts, please, but a card with a memory or a spiritual bouquet would be cherished!
I would also like to thank Darren Ulerick, for the past 3 years of service he has given to our parish community. Yesterday was his last day of work at St. Charles Borromeo, and we wish him well as he pursues his dream of working in law enforcement. He'll begin serving our community in a different way this coming week, as he begins working for the Miami County Sheriff's Department. Please keep him, and all of our law enforcement officers, in your daily prayers.
We are thus accepting applications for the building and grounds position (full-time, benefits available) here at St. Charles Borromeo. Individuals interested in applying should contact our parish offices.
Finally, please pray for our ongoing discernment as we review applicants for the Director of Operations position (which will serve both All Saints and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Churches). We have narrowed our search down to two applicants, whom we will be interviewing next week, with the hopes of making an offer before the end of this month.
God bless,
Fr. Adam Mauman
Pastor
