Options for Mass this weekend

Video Mass for this weekend is available on the St. Bernadette website and via Facebook.

We have an additional Mass opportunity this weekend. We will live stream the 10 am Mass via Facebook with the video being available on the website at 1pm.

This 2nd Mass at home option comes to us with Archbishop Aquila being the presider. He will install Fr. Joe McLagan as the pastor of St.Bernadette Parish and re-dedicate our altar since construction is complete.

We are appreciative of this digital age so that all can view this event in the safest manner for your individual circumstances.

If you choose to attend the 10 am Mass all attendees will be required to adhere to 6 ft social distancing and wearing a mask.

VBS was an amazing week of learning about trust in the Lord and his great sacrifice. We had amazing weather and met some new friends. We marched around the walls of Jericho where we experienced the mighty power of God; we witnessed the incredible faith of King Hezekiah and saw how trust in God can help us with fear; we met young King Josiah whose love for God's Word is true and powerful; and we walked into Jerusalem with our true King, Jesus, and witnessed his death on the cross and resurrection as the victory over sin. We could not have had such a safe and great week without all the help of our volunteers (tie dye shirts), the generous donations and the staff of St.Bernadette.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Saturday July 25th is playground clean up day. Wellspring Catholic Academy is preparing for in person classes and focus is being put on the inside of the building to assure the students and teachers have a safe environment. We could use some help with giving the playground a thorough clean up. Hands to help and tools (battery or gas tools would be ideal but if not, we have extension chords) to expedite the work are needed. Please contact the parish office and let us know if you are able to assist on this day. Our tasks include weed removal, debris removal along the windows of the school and fences, outside the fence trash and debris pick up. We will start at 7:30 am.

VOLUNTEER NEEDED

St. Bernadette Parish community is in need of a volunteer who is willing to take on the responsibilities of games manager. A games manager is consulted for fundraising events that fall under state gaming rules, like raffles, Bingo events and auction activities. A games manager is present for these events to guide those hosting the event and assure St. Bernadette is compliant in procedures. This position is currently vacant. St. Bernadette Faith Formation (Religious Education) Department is hosting a fund raiser. We have partnered with Tiny Saints and have the Tiny Saint charms available for purchase. Our current inventory is listed below. Each saint charm is $5. If don't see one or two you would like, let us know and we can order them for you.
