The White Elephant on 1730 N. Division, will close its doors July 26th.  Until then  boxes have been set out at the store to collect purchased toys, which will be passed on to the St. Vincent de Paul conferences in the area for distribution to families assisted by SVdP at Christmas.  On Wed., July 22nd, Channel 4's morning news program (5-7 a.m.) will interview SVdP council members, including our own Grace Vera, to highlight this shopping opportunity.
