Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We are continuing our journey through this Lenten season. As we have talked about, this is a season of grace for us, an opportunity for deeper conversion, and allowing the Lord work in us in a deeper way. Recognizing our weaknesses should not lead us to discouragement, but rather to a deeper appreciation of God’s great love for us.

Please make every effort to attend our two-night Lenten Mission this coming Monday and Tuesday, March 20 and 21. On Monday evening beginning at 7pm, Fr. Jeff Huard will offer a Lenten Reflection. There will also be time for Eucharistic Adoration and some fellowship afterwards. On Tuesday evening, also beginning at 7pm, we will have our Lenten Penance Service - a wonderful opportunity to receive the sacrament of reconciliation. I look forward to seeing you all there.

This weekend at the 10:30am Mass, we will be recognizing Rhonda Eurich for thirty years of service to our parish. I am so very grateful for Rhonda’s tireless service and commitment to Our Lady of the Lake. Though I know she doesn’t like being the center of attention, it is only right that we honor her. I am sure you all agree that Rhonda has been a wonderful blessing to our parish.
