A Message from Fr. Andrew:
Dear Faithful Parishioners of St. Thomas of Canterbury,
First, I thank God for each of you. I praise Him and beseech Him for the health and well-being of all during this pandemic time.
Second, I thank you for your presence in this friendly community, whom I have been called to serve. It has been a blessing to have been welcomed warmly by many of you. I really appreciate you for having done so, either directly or indirectly, in one way or another – whether in prayers, thoughts, or words. I have also been very fortunate to have met some of you in person, and I look forward to seeing those, whom I have not, in the safe future. Please continue to pray for me and for one another, so we can be healthy and well both physically and spiritually.
Third, I thank all of our staff, volunteers, and youth, who have been very dedicated in helping the parish with transitioning into beautiful and safe outdoor Masses. In addition, we have online streaming for our friends at home. I see this as a welcoming and supporting gift from God to you, and me, as a new shepherd of this community.
Finally, I thank you for being patient with us during this time of rapid change. I am thankful to you for being connected to our parish. We are here for you (prayers, baptisms, weddings, anointing of the sick, funerals, etc) so please call us at
408-378-1595 or visit us online at our new website, StThomasSJ.org.
Please know you are in my thoughts at Masses, during Fridays’ adoration, and in my nightly prayers.
With gratitude and prayers,
Fr. Andrew
