Dear St. Joseph Parish Family,
One announcement concerning the St. Joseph Capital Campaign. People have asked me about the status of our capital campaign. The campaign was set to end just as the city descended into the pandemic quarantine at the St. Joseph parish dinner. The pledges were due by June 5th. Due to the pandemic, everything fell into the void of quarantine. I want to announce that we're ending the campaign on August 31st. If you want to donate to the campaign or fulfill your pledges you still have a month. The campaign goal was $700,000 and we have raised $567,553.25. If all the pledges are sent in then we should have just over $600,000. Thank you for your generosity!
We are proceeding with the projects the campaign covers. The new parish hall, McGuire Hall, will be a game-changer for St. Joseph's – we'll be able to host many more ministries and have a great space in which to build community. I hope that we can have it completed before Christmas. I can't wait until we can have a celebratory dinner down there when it opens!
In Christ,
Fr. Boniface
