As you know, the Foodbank is in great demand these days. You can help by making a monetary donation by clicking here.  This will allow the staff to purchase  much needed food to deal with the increase in demand at their door. Thank you!

We checked in with the Food Bank and they are in particular need of mini-boxes of cereal, as well as instant and ground coffee.  If you are willing to donate, please place in the link and Jackie Taylor with pick up and deliver (thanks Jackie!).

Despite the pandemic, we will once again need volunteers to distribute food in Somerville every Saturday in September!  If you are willing to participate, please email Lea O’Shea (leaoshea4@gmail.com) and let me know which Saturday(s) you are available.  If you’re not comfortable in person – please donate (I am afraid to say it….) TOILET PAPER.  It is always a big need and supplies are always low.  I think the supply is high in stores, so I think this is a need we can meet.  You can drop off your donations in the link or, if more convenient, just drop it off to the office.

I hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to doing some nice things this summer. Thank you to all the ushers who have served earlier this year. We are restarting with our summer schedule in July. I have been covering, but could use some help for the next two months with 10:00 services (8:00 services are still suspended for now). We will need just one usher for the 10:00 service through the summer. I could also use some new volunteers for the fall. If you are interested, please reach out to me, even if you can only usher occasionally.

1. Sign up for (the free version of) Zoom by downloading the app on your phone or tablet, or by going to zoom.us on your computer. 

2. Enter your name and a few quick details about yourself. It's super easy.

3. Every group or class session that we run on Zoom will have a link that is available on the home page of our website. You can either click on the link, or enter the Meeting ID, 475-720-2204  into Zoom. That will take you into the call.

You don't need fancy tech to join in to a Zoom conference. You can just call in to the "meeting" on your normal telephone by calling: 646-558-8656. Then enter the meeting ID 475-720-2204# to join in.
