COLLECT PRAYER from Mass readings (August 4, 2020)
Almighty and merciful God, who made the Priest Saint John Vianney wonderful in his pastoral zeal, grant, we pray, that through his intercession and example we may in charity win brothers and sisters for Christ and attain with them eternal glory. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

Greetings on the evening of the Memorial of Saint John Vianney!
July is scheduled as one of our quarterly meetings, but a quick note will have to suffice for the time being (albeit a bit late!)
As we begin the month of August, let us place our priests and religious in the tender care of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. They have been working so hard these past few months, holding their flocks together in the midst of the seemingly unknown, reminding us and keeping us focused on the one sure thing, our Father's ever tender love and mercy for us all.
At this time of year, some of the priests received new assignments, which brings the extra challenge of learning the ins and outs of a new parish. Our seminarians are preparing to head back to their studies. Let's assure them of our prayers for them, and offer a kind word or note of our gratitude!
In the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Bret and Mary Hagen
