Dear Saint Hubert Parish Family,
This Sunday we hear yet another very fitting set of readings for our times. We hear about where to find God's hand in the midst of turbulence, in the midst of confusion, and even in the midst of fear.
So, please join us for prayer as we contemplate God's word and take it into our lives. Whether we're able to be together in person or on-line, let us pray.
We're Still On-Line!
Join us Sunday on-line for Mass, or try our Spiritual Communion Prayer Service, which can be prayed individually or as a family. Every Spiritual Communion includes the prayers, scripture readings, and petitions included in Sunday Mass, along with a reflection by Fr. Mike.
A Young Woman Discovers Her Vocation
It's with great joy that we announce that one of our parishioners, Jazmine Rangel, has been accepted into the formation program with the Salesian Sisters, Daughters of Mary Help of Christians. She'll begin on September 8, which is a very meaningful day in the life of the Church. It's the day we celebrate the birth of Mary!
Jazzy has graciously agreed to offer some insights on how she felt God helped her realize her vocation--a perfect reflection for the first reading today, which is all about the unexpected way God can speak to us, even during a pandemic. You'll find her reflection in today's bulletin!
As much as she is happy and full of joy, so are we! As we get closer to her time of departure, we'll bless her as she heads into this important time in her life. She is a remarkable young woman, and a joy to be around.
A Noon Mass Added Next for Sunday!
Next Sunday, August 16th, we will offer a third Mass beginning at noon. That will allow another 100+ parishioners to join us in person--for those ready to do so. We're planning to resume the much anticipated 4:30pm Saturday Mass either August 29 or September 5. We'll keep you posted.
The sign-up for Sunday and Weekday Masses begins Wednesdays at 6pm and concludes Saturday evenings at 7pm. Weekday Masses are offered Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:30am.
Reconciliation and Eucharistic Adoration are held Tuesday evenings from 5-7pm. It's not necessary to sign-up for Reconciliation, but helps us prepare for your arrival.
You can find the sign-up links on the Wednesday Flocknote or on our website.
