Well, its time. Its time for us to return to Eucharist. We do so while the Covid 19 Pandemic is still seriously surrounding us. We do so amid risks and warnings and with great caution. Its time to return to Eucharist.
Our celebrations of the Eucharist will be adapted, as they have been these last months, to the current pandemic. There will be smaller crowds, no touching, measured seating, wearing masks, modified singing and other measures to minimize the risks. There will be a need, as before, for home health checks for all members before getting in the car and “going to Church.”
Our celebrations of the Eucharist will return to the main sanctuary. We have not been in the sanctuary since March 10. It will be good to be there again. Our return to Eucharist in the sanctuary will also allow us to once again celebrate funerals and weddings as before.
I would like to invite you to join us for Eucharist if you have discerned and recognized the many risks that our gathering invokes. If you are unable to join us, please know that you and your household are constantly in our prayer. We will continue to record the Saturday Evening Eucharist and post it online for viewing on Sunday Morning.
