Hello friends,
As many of you have already heard, I am currently quarantining after exposure to someone who later tested positive for Covid while I was away last week. Fr. Jeff moved offsite for the duration of my quarantine to ensure that we can still provide for sick calls and other outreach to our parishioners while I am isolated. We are also monitoring a potential situation with one of our staff members who was exposed, and that might necessitate the closure of the parish office for a time while we obtain tests and gather more information. For the time being, my housemates and I are still asymptomatic, and continue to pray and offer Mass for our people each day. I hope this situation resolves quickly, but we are preparing for any number of outcomes, and we will keep the region posted as things develop. We are hopeful that we will be able to continue with the regional Mass schedule as planned, but there is a chance we may have to consolidate daily Masses or cancel some altogether if we cannot find substitute priests, which has been a particular challenge lately under all the restrictions. Thank you for your continued patience, know of my prayers for you, and please pray for us.
Prayers always,
Fr. McC
