Deacons, doctrine and doughnuts -- such will be some of the highlights of this weekend at St. Ann's.
- Joe Roder of our parish will be ordained to the permanent diaconate along with other men from throughout the diocese on Saturday morning, August 15, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral. Attendance is by invitation only but you can watch the diocesan livestream through the amarillodiocese.org website. Deacon Joe will assist at all the St. Ann's Masses this weekend. A special basket for congratulatory cards and wishes will be available in the narthex. Please pray for Joe and his wife Karen!
- Doughnuts will be served after the 9 a.m. Mass under the tents outside the front doors to take with you on your way. Some kiddos and kids-at-heart will be very happy!
- The rollout of plans for this fall's Faith Formation for Children, Youth and Adults will happen this weekend through our expanded bulletin. Please give us a call if you have questions or need clarification. The bulletin will be sent via Flocknote shortly.
- Blessings of students headed off the college as well as teachers, staff and students returning to school this and next week will be celebrated at all Masses along with the handing out of pencils and blessed saints medals for the journey.
**Please note that St. Ann's and our diocese continue to lean on the side of caution and the common good by requiring masks and social distancing at our weekend liturgies. Bathrooms are open. Children are welcome. The narthex is available for restless children and parents. Thank you!
