Peace be with you!
We hope this message finds you healthy and joyful in the Lord.
Next Saturday, October 31st, is the vigil of the Solemnity of All Saints... known more popularly as All Hallows Eve or Halloween. In this Sunday's bulletin (below), I share about this very Catholic celebration and how it has changed over centuries, plus more about parish life in the month of November.
The media has been rife with speculation about comments made by Pope Francis in a documentary that most people have not even seen. I have shared a balanced
article from Catholic News Agency (below). Please read this article and please do not jump to conclusions before actually hearing what Pope Francis said and what it means to the Church’s teaching. Thank you!
Here are a few upcoming events to mark on your calendar:
Oct 27 & 28: 6pm - Walking Rosaries (Tues - Span, Columbia; Wed - Eng, Olive)
Friday, Oct 30: 5-7pm, Trunk or Treat at Sacred Heart Academy (Olive Ave)
If you would like to donate individually wrapped candy for this event, please drop it off at the parish office entrance before Friday. Thank you

* the Sunday 6:30pm Mass changes to 5:30pm

Together, we glorify Christ's Holy Name!
