Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery will immediately follow Mass. Reed Egan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There are no calling hours. Please pray for Joe’s soul as well as his family and friends.
SPICE
The 2019-2020 school was one to be proud of for SPICE (Special People in Catholic Education). It was a year of firsts including coming together as a unified team of Licking County Catholic schools and hiring staff for all 3 schools. We have worked with over 130 students and provided tutoring for students in need of help to pass the End of Course Exams. We have applied for and received grants and hired an Educational Advocate. During COVID, SPICE staff reached out to families in need and provided resources that helped them through difficult times. Perhaps we are most proud of our newly designated Jon Peterson Provider Status at St. Francis de Sales. We ended the 2019-2020 school year with hearts filled with gratitude. We learned more than we taught and got more than we gave. We are preparing for the 2020-2021 school year to share God’s love through our time and talents and to further support our Principals and students in Licking County Catholic Schools. Please email Lianna Capretta at LCapretta@stfrancisparish.net with any questions, ideas, or resources!
