Dear Parishioners:
It's been a great joy to worship with those of you who have returned to weekend Masses, but of course, it is bittersweet since many of our parishioners have not returned since the shutdown. We miss you and pray for you! You are not forgotten. Please
let me know of your special prayer requests and anything your parish can do for you.
Because of Covid regulations, I have decided that religious education will not be offered during the Fall semester at St. Mary’s. We simply do not have enough physical space to social distance, and several of our teachers are unable to be present. We will revisit the question of the feasibility of resuming religious education for the Spring semester. In the meantime, I encourage families to make special efforts to pray together, to watch Catholic movies and programs, to explore the many resources at St. Mary's Bookstore.
Regarding sacramental preparation for
First Communion and
Confirmation, if you have
second or
eighth graders, please complete
this form so we can send you a packet for First Holy Communion or Confirmation Preparation to complete at home.
Finally, parishioners are welcome to come downstairs between Sunday Masses for a cup of coffee and fellowship. If enough people are interested, we will get the coffee fired up again!
Be assured of my prayers for all of you, and I ask for your prayers as well,
Fr. Neely
