Easter Eggs for the Soup Kitchen
The St. Joseph’s Soup Kitchen operates each Saturday, with an army of volunteers who serve meals to many needy individuals and families. This weekend, you can help in a special way to bring some joy to the needy who visit our Soup Kitchen by donating brightly colored Easter eggs. If you have time between now and Saturday morning to color and decorate eggs, you may bring them to Casserly Hall (under the church, entrance on Washington Place) on Saturday, April 15 between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Please Donate a Dessert!
St. Joseph’s has a parish tradition of welcoming our its newest members after the Easter Vigil service with wine and delicious desserts in the school hall. To make this possible and have it not be a huge expense to the parish, we ask parishioners to donate their favorite dessert (cake, cookies, cheese, fruit — bake or buy) for this occasion.
If you can assist us, please bring your dessert to the school hall Saturday morning at 10 a.m. right after Morning Prayer. We also need help at that time, setting up for this event, as well as late Saturday evening for cleanup. To help us plan,
please let us know online if you intend on donating. Thank you so much for your generosity.
Easter Decoration Saturday
Let’s celebrate Jesus’ resurrection in our church adorned with flowers. Please help decorate our Church this Saturday morning, April 15, at 10 a.m. after Morning Prayer. If you can help, please
please let us know online. Thanks!
