Mass Times
Reservations are no longer needed to attend weekend Masses although we will continue to screen our parishioners upon entry for Sunday Mass. Safety protocols such as capacity limits, face coverings and social distancing requirements will be enforced. We reserve the right to reinstitute Mass Sign-ups should the state, county, or Archdiocese of Washington mandates change.
Daily Masses
- Monday thru Saturday at 8:30 AM, Except for the following:
- September 7 - Labor Day 10:00 AM
- October 12 - Columbus Day 10:00 AM
- November 11 - Veteran's Day 10:00 AM
- November 26 - Thanksgiving Day 10:00 AM
Weekend Masses
- Saturday Vigil Mass at 5 PM
- Sunday Mornings at 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:30 AM

Reopening Guidelines: As parishes strive to return to a more normal way of operating, the Archdiocese of Washington has implemented these safety guidelines to safely return to parish ministry. The Archdiocese of Washington, and St. Nicholas are committed to the health and safety of our clergy, staff, parishioners, and volunteers, and slow the spread of COVID-19.
Before Attending Mass, the first point of screening begins at home. If you, or someone in your home is displaying any of these symptoms - stay home.
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath, difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting, diarrhea
- New loss of taste or smell
Additional Screening:
- In the past 15 days, have you knowingly or been directly exposed or around anyone who has been directly exposed to COVID-19, or has anyone in your household been subject to quarantine by an employer or school? If so - stay home.
- Wait fourteen (14) days before returning to parish if you have traveled to high risk areas.
Arriving at the Parish:
- Wear face coverings upon exiting vehicle and proceed to designated building entrance.
- Use hand sanitizer upon entering building.
- Proceed directly to designated meeting space or classroom - avoid gathering in places such as hallways, outside bathrooms, ect.
These best practices and procedures for attending Mass are in place for everyone's health and safety. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
If you feel uncomfortable attending Mass at this time, or have underlying health issues that are a concern, please remember that the dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and holy days of obligation is still in effect until further notice. We will continue to send out the Sunday Flocknotes with the links to the livestream Sunday Mass from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.

You are cordially invited to a Sunday Social on September 13, 2020 following the 11:30 AM Mass. There will be lots of great food and games.
The meals will be prepared and served by John Walsh of Full Belly Catering, LLC, and the menu will feature pulled pork, smoked chicken, all-beef hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, fruit cups, and sweets.
Mandated mask and social distancing protocols will be observed. There will be indoor and outdoor tables where you and your family may be seated. "Understanding God:" This class is a five-part video series that explores who God is and why God matters. Each video is 10 minutes long and will be followed by discussion.
