Happy First Day of School! I know it has been a while since I have written but I wanted to be sure to let you know I have been praying for you all as you begin this new and very different start to the school year!
Today is also the Feast of the Nativity of Mary, our Blessed Mother's birthday!!! Therefore, today is a wonderful opportunity to pray to Mary and thank her for the example that she is for us all, especially mothers. She was asked to do the unimaginable and she said "Yes!" If she can risk her life, sacrifice her plans in obedience to God, we can all endure virtual schooling! You got this! Ask Mother Mary for help! Pray today!
Celebrate the start of school and Mother Mary with some good old celebration tonight. Pray a Hail Mary or a decade of the Rosary amid your first day of school celebrations today.
Use the notes below to help inspire your kids through their virtual learning this month. Hide them in a book or leave them at the breakfast table or in their lunch. Remind the kids that I am praying for them and that I know they will do great. Parents, know I am praying for you as well and for all the teachers, I am praying for you also. We are all in this together and I know with God's grace and Mary's intercession 2020 can be the best year ever!
If you have not registered for faith formation yet be sure to check out our plans...
