September 15, 2020
Dear Parishioners:
Our September is both normal and not normal. Normal because we have begun our usual
programs, not normal because they are beginning very differently. We are all getting used to this new “normal”.
We have over one hundred children taking advantage of our
Elementary Religious Education program this year. That is about 2/3 of our usual enrollment. All those classes are taking place online and the parents are great partners in this process.
Our registrations for our
Confirmation program are less than usual. These classes will also be online with an outstanding group of peer ministers involved in the process. If you have not registered for Year One OR Year Two Confirmation classes please check our
website for information. All registrations are available online with online payment options.
Let us remember those brave men and women who are fighting the wild fires in the West. We ask St. Florian (d.304), patron saint of firefighters, to intercede for their protection. Also, we remember those who have lost loved ones and property during this terrible time. Lord, comfort and console them.
We have had great attendance at our outdoor Sunday Masses. Be sure to register on our website for each Sunday you wish to attend because space is limited and Masses fill up fast. Viewing for our
livestream Mass on Sundays at 11:00 AM is robust. Please see our
website for information on how to join us.
Please be assured of my prayers for you and your families during these uncertain times.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Reverend Monsignor Paul M. Albee
Pastor
