How Do I Become Catholic?
Adults who would like to become Catholic or explore the teachings of the Catholic Church are invited to join the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults or RCIA. Classes will begin in late October. There is no obligation to become Catholic if you attend. This is an opportunity for you to learn what the Church teaches and deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ and his Church. Catholic Adults who may have missed the Sacraments of Eucharist, Reconciliation or Confirmation as children or teens are invited to attend the RCIA program and be prepared to receive the missing Sacraments. Communion Services every Tuesday during Phase 2
We’re delighted that we have been be able to welcome parishioners back for public Masses. However, we are aware that due to underlying medical conditions and/or age that not all parishioners are yet comfortable to join us for Mass. At the same time, we know that you are desiring to receive the gift of the Eucharist.
St. Pius will continue to offer communion services during phase 2 reopening of churches for anyone who is NOT able or comfortable to attend Mass at this time. The Tuesday Communion service will be offered at 10:00 am. The communion service is limited to 12 people, and will be held in the cafeteria to allow for adequate social distancing. The church space remains open on Tuesdays, providing a place for personal prayer. To attend a communion service, one must call the parish office to sign up at 429-5337. Should a given communion service not be filled, we will keep a wait list and call you. Please note that there will NOT be a communion service on August 25th, as the parish is closed for a staff development day.
