WE LOVE YOU, MISS BECKY!
She’s loved our kids for 21 years and we love her in return. So, load up the family and drive to the Ave Maria Center between 10am and noon this Saturday, September 19, to participate in a fun, COVID-friendly farewell to Becky Wilkinson as she retires as founder & director of our Weekday Children’s Program.

HELP WITH EDGE
Our middle schoolers need a few more high school and adult mentors (especially men) to step up to serve on Core. Edge will begin remotely, hoping to move on-campus later this fall. Please contact Cindy Martin to help. Thank you!
DRIVE-THRU FOOD DRIVE
On Friday, September 25, between 4-6pm, the Knights of Columbus will host a drive-thru Food Drive at the belltower to fill the shelves of our Social Concerns Ministry. Go HERE to see a list of non-perishable food items that are most needed. Thanks for your generous support!
PRAY FOR THE SICK
We started a new Pray for the Sick list in the bulletin, so call the parish office at 281-980-9812 if you are a parishioner and want your name added. Your name will appear for a period of 4 weeks. Let us pray for you!
HIRING SUNDAY SACRISTANS
If you love the Mass and would like to work 4-10 hours per week, apply for the position of Sacristan. Sacristans work behind the scenes to make everything run smoothly at Sunday Mass. Must be 18+, with knowledge of the order and flow of Mass. Send your resume to Betty Holub.
FAMILY ROSARY ON FRIDAYS
Since the start of the pandemic, families gather via Zoom each Friday at 8 pm to pray the Rosary. People of all ages and stages of family life are invited to join! Contact Mark Coppedge in advance to get log-in details.
40 DAYS FOR LIFE
On Mondays and Thursdays from September 23 thru November 1, sign up to join 40 Days for Life for one hour of peaceful and loving prayer outside an abortion facility. Your prayers could save a life. Contact Marie McCoy for details.
LOOK FOR SIGNS
New signs will be posted by the City of Sugar Land, so please observe the new traffic rules. Parking at the corner of Stephens Grant and Sweetwater will not be allowed during Mass times and drive-thru access to that neighborhood will not be allowed during certain hours. Also, reduced speed signs will go up in Colony Park. Let’s be safe!
GOT COSTUMES?
We are collecting new and gently used (non-scary) Halloween costumes for children in need. Please mark your donations Nery's Promise and drop in the Social Concerns bin in the church narthex before October 20.
