Who Will Pitch In?
For all those who have been faithfully ushering and/or sanitizing the pews after Mass, you are a blessing and we appreciate you very much.
Who else will help? Sanitizing the pews after Mass will take approximately 20 minutes or so per person. If you would like to pitch in, please contact the parish office at 508-885-3111 (Mon-Wed 9-5) or contact Ken Choquette. Your help is important and appreciated.
October Calendar Raffle — Let's beat the 600 sold for the last raffle!
As per Fr. Bill's letter last week, this month's calendar proceeds will go toward repairing the uneven pavement between the Rectory and the Church. Hopefully, this will make it easier to walk, drive, and clear snow in this area.
- Calendars are $10 each.
- Extra calendars are available attached here (underneath the bulletin), at the office, and online here. Feel free to print as many copies as you would like to!
- Complete and return the stub at the bottom of the calendar and return it to the parish office at 46 Maple Street, Spencer MA 01562.
- Checks will be mailed out and the winners will be printed in the bulletin the following week.
How to Continue Supporting the Financial Needs of Our Parish
- When you come to Mass, drop them in one of the labeled baskets at the doors, either on your way into or on your way out of Mass.
- Bring them to the Parish Office (Monday-Wednesday, 9 am-5 pm). Go up the ramp to get to the Office.
- Mail them in: Mary Queen of the Rosary, 46 Maple St, Spencer MA 01562.
- You can set up give a one-time donation or set up recurring donations on our secure parish website portals. You will see in the image at the end of the note that you have 2 options:
- Credit Card Click on ONLINE GIVING at the bottom of the page (form will display on the page)
- Directly from your bank account. (Click on the "ParishSoft Giving Portal" link in the left column.I've not used the credit card option, but I've used the ParishSoft Giving Portal since it began.
- It is set up just like the envelope system, I have total control of which funds I give to (e.g. weekly contribution, St. Vincent de Paul, Christmas flowers just to name a few).
- You can make a one-time donation to a fund (e.g. Christmas or Easter) or make it a recurring donation.
- You have total control over how much you contribute and can change the amount any time before the withdrawal is made.
- You receive an email reminder 3 days prior to the withdrawal, so if I want to change the amount being withdrawn, you just have to do it prior to the withdrawal.
- You receive an email confirmation that includes a transaction number after the money withdrawn.
- You can see and print reports of your donations. This makes it easy for tax purposes
