YFF Starts this Sunday! HSYG - Sunday Evening!
If you have a child ages Pre-K - 8th grade, please join us this Sunday after 9 am Mass. Kids will meet in parish hall or outside in the back parking lot and parents are invited to enjoy coffee & muffins on the back porch of the Newman Center.
Liturgical Minister Training
Liturgical Minister training for Eucharistic Ministers, Readers, Sacristans, and Ushers will take place after Mass the weekends of September 26th & 27th and October 3rd & 4th. If you would like to be included in the weekly, rotating schedule you must attend ONE of these training sessions. If you are signed up for more than one ministry, you must attend one session for each ministry.
At these sessions we will ask you to complete a form with your preferred contact information and Mass times, receive training on the position, and for those who have served in the past, updates on changes due to COVID-19.
If you have questions prior to the training or would like more information, please contact the parish office.
Catholic Ministries Appeal (Formerly Fruitful Harvest)
By now you should have received an important letter from Bishop Timothy L. Doherty asking for your participation in the Catholic Ministries Appeal, formerly Fruitful Harvest. Also enclosed will be a brochure explaining the many ministries supported by this important appeal, as well as a pledge card with return envelope to mail your gift in. By giving to the Catholic Ministries Appeal, you are helping to support programs for our retired priests as well as new seminarians, for our youth, Newman Centers, deacons, prison ministry, pregnancy centers and so much more. I encourage you to study the mailing from Bishop Doherty and to prayerfully consider giving generously to this appeal. Commitment Weekend for the Appeal will be October 10th & 11th. Until then, please prayerfully consider what gift you can give and the impact it will have on our parish.
