Middle and High School Youth

All middle school & high school youth are invited to a join in on games with Father Tony and youth group leaders. We will play a game of kickball and have other fun activities too. It is time to register for Cathedral PREK-HS faith formation. Our programs will be online/over Zoom, with some in-person opportunities that will observe all safety guidelines. Register online, today, for all PREK-HS students!
We are excited about our children and youth faith formation programs! Here is a preview of the schedule:
PREK-5th grade: Log on at your convenience for your child’s weekly faith formation lesson to a password protected website. The site will have meaningful video lessons for your children each week carefully prepared by our Cathedral Catechists. Your child can view them and respond when it is convenient for them to do so during the week. We will also have many support resources for parents. Every month, we will do a live Zoom call or an in-person opportunities for parents and children. Register your child today!
Middle School Youth Group | Thursdays | 7:00 to 8:30pm | Over Zoom with in-person special events. Middle School Youth Group is so much fun! Meet weekly with your Cathedral friends and have fun while you grow in your faith together. Our middle school youth group leaders can’t wait to connect with you over Zoom - and then gather in person for fun activities. First youth group meeting is October 1st.
High School Youth Group | Sundays | 7:00 to 8:30pm | Over Zoom with in -person special events.Our High School youth group is expanding! We are joining up with other local churches to make it even more fun to meet with old friends and make new ones while learning and growing in faith. We have an exciting new program that will have you counting the days until Sunday youth group. First youth group meeting is October 4th.

Octave of Service:
September 27–October 4
The bicentennial jubilee of the Diocese of Richmond includes an Octave of Service in honor of St. Vincent de Paul, the diocesan patron known as the Apostle of Charity and Father of the Poor. This week of service will begin on the saint's feast day (September 27). The Cathedral will carry out two projects for the Octave of Service:
(1) Step-by-Step with Haiti: Walking to raise funds for our twin parish in Carrisade, Haiti
(2) Cemetery Clean-Up: Clearing debris at historic Evergreen and East End Cemeteries
