Good morning to all of my parish families and friends,
Today we get a brief introduction to the Book of Proverbs (Prov 21: 1-6, 1013). This book is a collection of short essays and easy to remember sayings about everything from marriage to friendship to advancing one's self in the community.
One of the passages states: "All the ways of a man be right in his own eyes, but it is the Lord who proves hearts." (Prov 21: 2) The simple message here is that God knows everything about each and everyone of us because He created us. Nothing is hidden from God. The danger is that sometime we forget this and rationalize our own sins, thus, sliding down a very slippery slope.
In our journeys this day let us remember to find God in all things. He is with us when we travel to work; He is with us at Church; and at our dinner tables; and He is with us most especially in the canyons of our hearts. Read over this passage today and let Him guide us in all that we do.
Have a great day :)
