Professor Kreeft, do we each have a guardian angel? Are our guardian angels aware of us right now?
Yes. There are twice as many persons as we can see in every place, every kitchen or classroom, every hospital or nursery. Only half are human persons. There’s an angel standing next to each bag lady. Think of that next time you pass one by.

Professor Kreeft, can angels make us good?
No. Only our free choices can make us good. No one, not even God, can make us good against our will. That would make free will unfree. But angels can help, just as human friends can. They can be God’s instruments. But we must use, or play, the instrument—just as we must accept and use human help. Angels will occasionally perform miracles on matter, because matter is passive and unfree. But to force human wills miraculously would be to pervert the fundamental nature of the will as active and free. Kreeft, Peter J.. Angels and Demons: What Do We Really Know about Them? (p. 93- 94).
