Families with grades school children. Religious Education and Sacramental Preparation programs are starting up and it is time to register! Please register your child today. Thank you so much for supporting the faith growth of your children and for helping build up the Body of Christ by your active participation in our parish. May God bless you! Contact Marie Bricher, DRE, for more information (mbricher@dioceseofspokane.org or 509-928-3210, ext. 111)
Religious Education: virtual meetings on Wednesdays, 6:30-7:30pm, for grades 1-5. Religious Education is primarily for those children who attend public schools, but all our parish’s children are welcome to participate (we use the same book—Alive in Christ—as our parish school).
Reconciliation Preparation: for children over age 7 (usually 2nd grade) and their parents, beginning our meetings on October 25—it will most likely be an on-line learning program at first. Our preparation program is intended for all our parish children—those who attend our Parish School, or Religious Education or are home-schooled.
Confirmation/First Eucharist Preparation: for children (after Reconciliation) and their parents, beginning with on-line lessons on September 27 (you can access the first lesson between September 27 and October 18). Our preparation program is intended for all our parish children—those who attend our Parish School, or Religious Education or are home-schooled.
If you have an older child that is not yet baptized, please contact me, Marie. I would be happy to help prepare your child for baptism so that they are ready to dive in to our other Sacramental Preparation programs. Families with infants and children under 7 needing to be baptized are invited to attend Baptism Class with Deacon Mike Miller the 3rd Sunday of the month after the 9am Mass. Call the parish office for more information.
Please register today using the attached forms or stop by the Parish Office.
