A couple of updates this week: Year of the Eucharist Event postponed, and Mission Appeal weekend this weekend. Our bulletin, of course, is attached. 

This Sunday September 26/27 is Mission Cooperation Mass here in the Cranberry organized by the Archdiocese of Boston Office for the Propagation of Faith. I (Fr. JT.) will be speaking at the weekend Masses about the work of the Church in my home Diocese of Orlu, Nigeria.

 

The Archdiocese has approved a second collection for my Diocese.  The collection will support the building of the “Domus Clero” (Home for Priests) that my Diocese is currently undertaking which will house our sick, retired and senior priests, who will be better looked after in the home.

I appeal to you parishioners and friends to kindly support me by donating to my home Diocese in Nigeria. Your generous donations from this 2020 Mission Appeal Mass will help my Diocese to complete the retirement home for priests.

Orlu Diocese in Nigeria is grateful to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston and the the Cranberry Catholic Collaborative for the opportunity to hold this special appeal.

“Mission Appeal: Orlu Diocese”. if you are using the CCC Online giving platform select the Mission Fund created for this collection.

CCC will send in all donations to the RCAB Office for the Propagation of Faith. This Office will make out a check to the Catholic Diocese of Orlu, Nigeria.
