Dear Parishioners,
The Prophet Ezekiel reminds us that God's ways are always fair even when we question them. God's ways include mercy for those who seek it and justice for those who don't.
The Gospel speaks to us about living an authentic life in order to work in the vineyard of the Lord. The one requirement is the virtue of Humility. The humility to see the dignity of others as equal to ourselves. The humility to keep our word. The humility to see the error of our ways and return to what is good and true. The humility to realize we are always learning and in need of growth. The humility to see our need for God's help every day of our lives. The humility to desire the salvation of everyone rather than desiring to be part of an exclusive group.
Let us humbly seek God's Mercy and then generously share God's Mercy this week.
Thank you to everyone who has stepped forward to offer physical, spiritual and financial support to our parish. As a community, we are truly blessed.
Let us continue to pray for each other and with each other as we build up the Kingdom of God.
I keep you and your families in my prayers.
May God bless you.
