The Power of "Yes"
Please join us either on-line or in-person as we explore the power of saying "yes" to what our faith in Christ encourages us to do. As Paul says today, it's to have the same attitude as Jesus.
Following Jesus leads to what's possible because it's a way that seeks the good of everyone around us. In a world that seems dark without much hope or respect for others, holding onto our faith can be like a light that allows us to see the very things we need to see to pull us through.
A Heartfelt Blessing for Deacon Dick Lawson
This Sunday we give thanks to God for the service and ministry of Dick Lawson as he retires from his functions as a deacon here at Saint Hubert. Please join us as we thank him and send him forth with a final blessing.
We also extend a heartfelt thank you to his wife, Sandy, his children and grandchildren for their own support of Dick's ministry and for sharing him with us for 21 years. A life of a Deacon isn't always easy, especially when juggling the demands of family and work along side it. It involves a lot of sacrifice. The Lawson's did it cheerfully, together as a family, and willingly out of their love for God and for all of us at Saint Hubert. We're grateful to them all for all they do for our community.
