Blessings of Christ be with you all!!
How often do we wake up in the morning and immediately spring into action and jump into our busy days?! How many times do we yearn for a bit of a slow-down? A little time to sit in silence? To pray? To have a bit of time to give thanks for all that God has given to us?
I've found that I crave this quiet and reflective time. Time in solitude and stillness. Time to listen to the "still, small voice" of the Holy Spirit within me. Even if it is only ten minutes (or the time it takes to drink one cup of coffee!), having this time for myself and God is incredibly rewarding.
During these quiet moments, I have found that reading a small spiritual reflection lightens my spirit, gives me direction for my prayers, and helps me focus on gratitude for the day.
With that in mind, I would like to offer you the opportunity to receive daily email reflections from St. James Parish. These meditations will be taken from a variety of sources and come in a variety of forms (prose, poetry, psalms, etc). Just a small "spark" from the Spirit each day to fuel our spiritual fires.
If you are interested in receiving daily email reflections, please click on the link below to sign up. These devotional emails will begin on November 1st and will arrive in your inbox around 6 am each morning. You can sign up at any time!
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions!
Blessings!
