OCTOBER EVENTS:
Outreach for the month: We are collecting candy or non-candy treats for trick or treating to be sent to our twin parishes in Appalachia for Halloween. If you can help out, deliver your donations to the church and place them in the box in the Commons. One of our parishioners will be delivering the goods to Appalachia on the 19th, so donations are needed quickly. Thank you!
Outdoor Pet Blessing

Bring your pet on a leash, in a crate or a bowl.
Trunk or Treat
Friday | October 30 | 6:30pm
Bring your car, trunk decorated and treats to pass out!
Have your kids dress in their costumes and have some fun!
Our Lady of Fatima - October 13th
Consider reading the lesson on page 34 of your Parent's Guide and learn more about the Apparitions of Mary at Fatima. Have your child color the image of Our Lady of Fatima on page 15 in their Activity Book. Watch the video below or maybe try praying one decade of the rosary:

St. Teresa of Avila - October 15th
- One of the first 2 women to be named as a Doctor of the Church

Pull out the image of St. Teresa on page 18 in your Parent Guide then look at page 53 of your parent guide for the lesson on St. Teresa. Since she was a Carmelite, try having a caramel treat (see some suggestions here) as you sit down to share her story from A Family of Faith on page 20 of the Activity Book and then have your children color page 22.

Enter by the bell tower and walk to the right. Turn right down the second hallway on the right and take the bag with your last name. If your bag is not there or something is missing, please contact Katie Visconti at kvisconti@saint-mikes.org.
