Remember that it is the poor, young, old and chronically ill who suffer the most from our changing climate and its extremes. That includes wet/dry fluctuations, overheating, wildfires, vector-borne diseases, floods, etc. These also affect our physical and emotional well-being when we are forced to stay indoors more as contaminants increase, insects multiply, and ozone, carbon dioxide, methane and other pollutants increase. It is only going to get worse if we fail to do what is necessary and morally responsible.
