Good afternoon, Elyria Catholic families,

 

We were notified that one student from Elyria Catholic High School tested positive for COVID-19. Lorain County Public Health (LCPH) is working closely with the student, who attends school remote only and is a member of the volleyball program. Anyone identified as a close contact will be notified by LCPH as a part of disease investigation, since close contacts have a higher risk of getting sick.

Please continue to talk with your students about the importance of wearing masks, safe distancing, and good hygiene practices. Thank you for helping to keep people safe and slow the spread of COVID-19 in the EC community and beyond.
