We are excited to continue our tradition of celebrating All Saints Day at school this year. As with everything this year, there will be some changes to the day which are outlined below. What isn't changing is that the students are still researching their Saints and will be dressing as those Saints. If you need items to complete the Saint costumes, please let Mrs. Sammy or Mr. O'Neill know what Saint and what you are looking for. We will go through the costumes we have at school and let you know what we have that you can use. You do not need to use the school costumes, they are just available to you should you need them.
Monday, November 2nd All Saints Day Celebration Schedule:
1. Students will arrive dressed in their Saint Costumes. This way parents can still help them get their costumes on. Unfortunately, parents are not able to stay for the festivities this year, but they will be recorded and shared!
2. Weather permitting, we will have morning prayer and our Saint Parade together outside to begin the day. Again, this will be recorded and shared with parents.
3. Students will return to their classrooms where they will do their Saint presentations. These will also be recorded and shared with parents.
4. Students will remove their costumes (Students must have their school unifomrs on under their costumes) and commence with Saint activities with their classes for the rest of the day. They will conclude the day by watching Coco as a class while having a Saints Snack!
*The videos of the day will be shared in an email later on that day.
Please reach you to your child's teacher or Mr. O'Neill with any questions.
