Momento Centinela
Sentinel Moment
Starting Saturday October 17th, at all weekend Masses, Sentinels at the door were instructed by the Parish Leadership and Pastor to start taking everyone’s temperature before granting entrance to the building for Mass. This is being done for the safety of all those attending the Mass. Those found to have a temperature will not be granted access to the building and will be turned away along with any family members with them. Please if you have a temperature stay home.
The Sentinels have also been instructed to count everyone as they arrived to insure the allowed maximum number of 650 people for the building is not exceeded. The Chapel and Narthex are now available for use during Masses should the Sanctuary reach the allowed amount to allow for Social Distancing. In this case the Ushers or Sentinels will direct late comers to a location they can watch and take part in the Mass. There are now TV monitors located in both the Narthex and Chapel.
The Sentinels are also instructed not to allow access to anyone not wearing a mask. It is highly recommended for your protection and of those around you, that you keep your Mask on during the Mass.
All the Sentinels are Parish members and volunteers attempting to keep everyone safe during this Pandemic and to be there in case of any emergency. They have all been trained on what to do and are always watching for any emergency which may occur.
Please thank the Sentinels for their service to you and your family members attending the Mass.
