4th Annual Soup for the Soul fundraising event sponsored by Jewish Family Service of Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties.
This special event supports people in the community who are food insecure and socially isolated. The event is being held on Sunday, November 22. We normally (pre-Covid) invite guests to join us for an enlightening program as we serve homemade soups, as well as hold a silent auction. Well we are still doing all of this in 2020, just virtually!
If you live local and would like to purchase a ticket to the event, we will be holding soup pick up (three pints of vegetarian soup) that day at Temple Sholom in Bridgewater from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. You will also be sent a Zoom link to participate in the program from 6:00 - 6:45 PM that evening while enjoying dinner in the comfort of your own home. Alternatively, if you live too far to pick up the soup, you can purchase a “ticket” to the event and JFS will make sure that the soup gets delivered to one of our homebound clients in need. You will still receive the Zoom link to join the program. Please click on this link to access registration for this event:

We are also holding a Silent Auction as an additional way to raise funds for those that are Food Insecure. The information is on the website with the event registration. Even those that do not buy a ticket to the event can participate in the auction. We will make arrangements to get all prizes to the winner. The Auction is LIVE now and will close at 6:45 PM on November 22. Winners will be notified automatically when the auction closes.
Thank you for any support you can give! Here’s hoping we can all meet in person again next year.
