The sacraments confer grace, which said another way, is that they give divine life.
A priest, bishop, or deacon is a “life giver” because he is a man of the sacraments, serving his people, the Church.
And the seventh sacrament, Holy Orders, empowers him to handle and administer the other sacraments.
