Dear Brothers and Sisters,
This weekend we celebrate the feast of Pentecost and with it the end of the Easter season. As we observe this great feast, we don’t celebrate simply a historical event. We celebrate the fact that we have been given the same Holy Spirit as the disciples.
We have the same Holy Spirit within us that filled the disciples at Pentecost. The thing about the Holy Spirit is that it’s not a onetime deal - The Spirit wants to be active in our lives on a daily basis, He wants to speak to us and guide us. Let us pray earnestly for a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our own lives, in our
parish and in our world.
We have concluded another very successful year in our school. I am very happy with the wonderful progress we have made this year and look forward to even greater things next school year.
May this summer be for all of us a time to know the great love that God has for each of us and to show that love to the world.
We are delighted to welcome Fr. Bryce Evans this weekend to celebrate his Mass of Thanksgiving. Please pray for him as he begins his priestly ministry.
God bless,
Fr. Tony
