Advent Project:
Our Lady of Guadalupe
Free Clinic
This year, our parish Advent project is for Our Lady of Guadalupe Free Clinic (OLGFC) which is located in Worthington, MN. Worthington is part of the Diocese of Winona-Rochester, and is extremely poor. The city has a population of 13,000 people, and more than 40% of its population is Latino. The clinic's staff lives out the corporal works of mercy by providing health care to those in need. They have been hit hard by Covid this year. The clinic also cares for the spiritual needs of clients and staff by offering prayer in the Adoration Chapel during clinic hours, and counseling services in the rectory.
