As you know, many months ago we made a change to the time of the Sunday Morning Mass in order to accommodate the addition of a streaming Mass at 9:15. The installation of our new camera system in the main church has made this additional Mass unnecessary. After polling those attending the morning Mass as well as those watching the streaming Mass, we've made the following decision regarding those Mass times.
Starting Sunday December 20th, the 8AM Mass will move back to 8:30AM. This will be a permanent change. We will begin streaming this 8:30 Mass live from the main church, eliminating the 9:15 streaming only Mass.
Additionally, we will be changing our streaming platform from Facebook to YouTube. This change has a number of benefits. First, most Smart TVs have access to YouTube, which means you will be able to view the Mass, devotions and special events on your TV screen, as well as your mobile device or computer. Also YouTube allows for much higher quality streaming than Facebook. Finally it allows our live events to be automatically archived for easy access, should you wish to view them later, rather than live. Instructions for subscribing to the St. Therese YouTube Channel will be coming soon.
To summarize, starting Sunday December 20th, the 8 AM Sunday Mass will be permanently moving to 8:30 AM, this Mass will be streamed live on YouTube, and the 9:15 streaming Mass on Facebook will be discontinued.
