Dear STM Parents and Families,
Yesterday, Governor Polis announced that some counties are moving to level red on the dial which comes with new restrictions for certain businesses including restaurants, bars, and gyms. Nevertheless, the Governor strongly reiterated that in-school learning continues to be encouraged and supported, noting that not only are schools the safest place students can be due to the controlled environments and control measures that are in place at the schools, but that it is also important to maintain in-school learning, “…so that our children’s future is not yet another casualty of this pandemic.”
The Office of Catholic Schools will be meeting virtually with school leaders today to further discuss how we can continue to support the Governor’s request to maximize in-school learning for our students.
We will continue to maintain our current learning configuration and as more information is received and conversations had with Archdiocesan officials and here locally, our priority will be to do everything possible not just to provide the highest quality Catholic educational experience, but also one that ensures the common good of our students and the continued safety of our community. We will communicate with you soon regarding how we will continue to support the education and formation of your children and what to expect from STM Catholic. If you have any immediate concerns or needs, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Thank you for continuing to entrust us with the education and formation of your children.
Peace and blessings,
Mrs. DeWolfe
Principal
