Our national day of Thanksgiving will soon be here. While it may not seem that 2020 is a year for which we have much to be thankful there are still glimmers of light peaking through our darkness. For example I have yet to hear that any of our parishioners have been personally infected by the Coronavirus. You are keeping safe! I hope that each of you will be able to meet you family either personally or virtually and share your love with them.
How about sharing your blessings with those who are struggling through the pandemic. Donate to the food banks our parish is sponsoring during this season.
We have developed a way for you to donate online. See link below. We have also mailed an envelope to our sustaining parishioners if they would like to participate in the regular way.
On Thanksgiving Day our parish Mass will be at 10 AM. If you want to bring some bread and wine to have blessed for your family meal, bring it to Mass and it will be blessed in your pew.
THERE WILL BE NO MORNING MASS ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 27. Also Parish office will be closed from Thanksgiving Day through Monday, November 30th.
Our new Liturgical year will begin the 1st Sunday of Advent (November 29).
Every year our foster youth at SFCASA (San Francisco Court Appointed Special Advocates) look forward to attending the annual Youth Holiday party - for many it is the only holiday celebration they will have. Sadly, due to COVID-19, this year the SFCASA Youth Holiday Party has been cancelled. Once again you can help these children. At each entrance of the church you will find a small Christmas tree festooned with ornaments requesting a gift card. Take an ornament, purchase the gift card and drop it in at weekly collection at mass or drop off at the rectory office. Help make a child's Christmas bright. All gift cards must be returned by December 6. See Flyer below.
