The governors most recent mandates (November 12 and November 20) will not affect our current Mass schedule or Faith Formation classes.
We do want to remind everyone of the protocols for attending Mass or prayer opportunities at St. Pius X as we continue to navigate the pandemic.
Our first consideration must continue to be for the spiritual and physical health of our parishioners and those whom they encounter, especially the most vulnerable: the elderly and those with chronic illnesses. The Archdiocese offers direction to parishes on a regular basis.
The obligation to attend Sunday Mass and Holy Days of Obligation continues to be suspended as long as the pandemic continues.
All COVID-19 positive persons, those who are symptomatic, and those living with them, must stay home.
Wearing face masks are mandated for indoor assemblies in the State of Minnesota unless you are exempt due to age (under age 2) or have a health condition. See the MDH web site for clarification. We urge assembly members to wear a face covering anytime you are on the parish campus.
Who can attend Mass?
As some of you may have heard or noticed, the Archdiocese has adjusted some guidelines for public Masses at those parishes that can safely offer them for their community. Of course, anyone whose health is a concern, or who is older and uncomfortable with groups may and perhaps should stay home. However, if you are healthy, regardless of age, we welcome you to our public Masses.
Tuesday Communion Service
St. Pius X offers Communion Services on Tuesdays at 10 AM with limited seating for those who are uncomfortable attending Mass but would like to receive the Eucharist. Contact the parish office 651-429-5337 for more information or to RSVP.
Liturgy Helpers are NeededIf you are willing to be a liturgy helper - especially a sanitizer or usher- please contact Suzie Schulte in the parish office at 651-762-3632 or
sschulte@churchofstpiusx.org.
We have a great need for ADULT sanitizers in order to continue to offer public Masses at St. Pius X. Training will be provided.
The video below is a good summary of COVID Mass procedures at St. Pius X. Please make sure you are familiar with these procedures as you attend Mass.
St. Pius X Catholic Church welcomes you to worship with us this Christmas! It is our hope that you'll find that it is a safe and prayerful experience.
Reservations are needed for those planning on attending a public celebration of the Mass at St. Pius X this Christmas. You can make your reservations online or by calling the parish office at 651-429-5337. Making your reservation early will help us in our planning. The Mass will be live streamed on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for those who choose to attend virtually.
Online Giving
Online giving is a great option for supporting the parish. You can make one-time donations or set up regular giving online via the parish website
www.churchofstpiusx.org and click on the 'Donate Online' button in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
Online Giving is a convenient way to continue your support of all our St. Pius X ministries when you can't attend Mass because of COVID concerns or if you are spending the winter in warmer climates. Contact the parish office at 651-429-5337 if you need assistance making a gift or setting up your online giving.
