Hi all!! I hope everyone is excited for this week off! While it may not seem like a huge break, it is a break. I know for our family we will be putting away the screens and being still with God and sleeping!
Below is our Children's Liturgy Video and resources for today as well as the Spiritual Weekly Newsletter from Tuesday. I also have included Christ the King and Advent resources for your family to get started with for Advent.
As always, we are praying for and with you and your families, we are here for you, we love you, and we love seeing your faces virtually and cannot wait to see them in person! If there is anything we can do for you and your families please let us know!
As our parish community volunteers and staff begin to reach out to you via phone, text, or email, I want to take this time and assure you that our lessons are not to add stress to your family. If they are adding stress in any way, please do not continue doing them and please let the Catholic guilt that so many of us have felt, and feel, go. We are all struggling right now and as we approach the holiday season the stress adds on. What is most important during this time of a pandemic is being with your family and sharing the love that you have for each other. God's greatest commandment was to love one another. That is it. We at St. Austin's love each and every one of you and we are praying with and for you. We are here as a community of love and outreach. You are doing an amazing job and God sees that! Keep on being amazing and a bright light for those around you! XOXOXOXO
God Bless and much love,
Rachel Vaughn and the Staff of St. Austin's
